A note from Angi : "I have done many hard things in my life • we all have proven to ourselves that we can continue to do the hard things • this year I’m moving into a new season of not focusing on the hard things anymore because I continue to gain the tools to grow through them! I want to focus as a community to control what we can control (which most days doesn’t seem like much) but the quality of our lives is determined by the quality of our thoughts and we can CHOOSE what we focus on…I choose joy • don’t confuse joy with happiness • my goal in life is not to be happy • happiness is fleeting and shallow • joy runs deep • I can feel sadness and brokenness and still choose joy • I can allow the sadness to wash over me but not be swallowed up by it • choosing joy means not allowing my circumstances to control my mood or my actions • choosing joy means that in every circumstance I have a choice, to be grateful for what I am learning and how I am growing • joy means I can have peace through any circumstance and that creates health and healing at a quantitative cellular level 🙌🏻"
